Kedarkantha is a peak located at an altitude of 3,800 meters within the Govind Wildlife Sanctuary of Uttarkashi district. A prominent winter trek in the Garhwal Himalayan region, this trek fulfills all the aspects of the best trek. The trek starts from a small village Sankri which is a very famous place and the trail takes you through picturesque places. There is an abundance of trees, the streams flow through forests and you will come across lush green meadows which will mesmerize you.

Getting to the base camp HPMA and Hotel Swargarohini Palace Sankri
Take an overnight train to Dehradun from Delhi. New Delhi-Dehradun A/C special train from New Delhi station is the best option. The train reaches Dehradun at 5.40 am. If you Meet to our office member and drive to Sankri base camp office Har-ki-dun Road Sankri.

Jolly Grant Airport is the airport serving Dehradun, located about 25 km from the city. There is a daily flight from Delhi to Dehradun

By Bus
There is regular bus service from Delhi to Dehradun, from Delhi, ISBT Kashmere Gate.
We would suggest you take only government buses from ISBT Kashmere Gate. Private buses ply from outside ISBT and they are not trustworthiness.
Usually, buses drop you at Dehradun ISBT. From there you have to come to Dehradun Railway Station to meet us railway station at 6:30 Am.
