Take an overnight train to Dehradun from Delhi. New Delhi-Dehradun A/C special train from New Delhi station is the best option. The train reaches Dehradun at 5.40 am. If you Meet to our office member and drive to Sankri base camp office Harkidun Road Sankri .

Description by (H.P.M.A) Kedarkantha Round Trek is a classic Summer/ winter trek. The trek provides a great opportunity for trekkers to see the scenic beauty and experience the life of remote villages of Garhwal Himalayas. Kedarkantha Trek lies in the Govind Wild life Sanctuary and National Park in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. The drive to Sankri (From where the Kedarkantha trek starts) is one of the most picturesque drives in the Himalayas through Mussoorie, Barkot, Purola, Mori, Netwar, Motwat along the Tons River Kedarkantha trek is one the easiest treks in the Himalayas to enjoy thick snow cover. The Kedarkantha trek campsite is great for birding and surrounded by beautiful snow peaks.

DAY 1: Pick up to you form Dehradun to Sankri Drive (210km)(1920mt)(7/8hrs) over night stay our hotel Swargarohini Palace Harkidun road sankri!
From Dehradun to Sankri/Saur (1850mt) through the Yamuna and Tons valleys across the Yamuna bridge, Nainbagh, Nowgaon, Purola, Jarmola (Jarmola is one of the biggest and most beautiful pine forests in Asia), Mori and Netwar. Trek to a tiny market in Sankri, a few wooden huts serve simple yet delicious food. Dinner and overnight stay .Our beautiful Hotel Swargarohini Palace harkidun road sankri.

DAY 2: After breakfast from Sankri to Juda ka talab by trek ,(5km) (3/4 Hrs) (2700mt) overnight stay in tents !
on an even surface through thick forests, with a few waterfalls on the way. It takes about 4-5 hours to reach Juda ka Talaab, covering 5 km, with an altitude gain of 2700 feet. Start your trek out of the village sour, into a pine forest and climb to the top of a ridge. Look out for langoors, wild boars, and hares on your way up. The trail passes through dense pine forests, maple trees, a few streams and finally opens out to a beautiful clearing – Juda lake . Juda-Lake is almost too perfect in its setting as a campsite, with a large lake to your left and a dense oak and pine forest to your right.

DAY 3: After breakfast from Juda ka talab to Kedarkantha base camp (4kmt),(3400mt) (3/4 hrs) overnight stay in tents !
With packed lunch, to Bainya (Kedarkantha 3836mt). You could either opt for the steep climb of Bainya Thach, which is a path with beautiful views,
Once you reach the Kedarkantha base, look out for white peaks that stretch from your left to right forming a wide arc. Bandarpoonch, Swargarohini, Kala Nag and Ranglana stand among the others. Kedakantha base offers one of the best views of the night sky. Camp overnight under a blanket of stars, with shooting stars making streaks across the sky wishing you goodnight.

DAY 4: After breakfast from Kedarkantha Base to Kedarkantha Peak Summit (3812mt) (12506fit) Dunda thach 7km (4/5hrs)!overnight stay in tents !
On Kedarkanthaa (3812mt) mountains, with packed lunch, to Dunda thach on a gradual ascent that offers excellent views of the snow-covered mountains and vast valleys with huge waterfalls. The area is home to a number of rare species of Himalayan birds, Animal All Forest area and flowers, and is full of birch and spruce. After the last steep climb of. The beautiful Swargarohini, Harkidun Valley and Kalanage Pick stands tall overlooking this Valley of God.Shiv, Dinner and overnight stay at the Dunda thach Comping at tent.

Make sure you wake up early to view the beautiful sunrise from your campsite. The trail to the summit is straigh forward through a small patch of oak trees. A few feet short of the summit, you can spot a temple with idols of lord Ganesh, Shiva and Parvathi. The summit is a five minute climb from the shrine. It is marked by a cairn with a shiv Trishul & Ganesh murati that points to the sky. Spend some time at the summit and descend back to the base camp by noon for lunch, mostly we are provide pack lunch in summit The trail down to Bainya bugiyal is spectacular as it ascends and descends through oaks, pines and frozen streams. Reach Dunda thach by evening and camp for the night.

DAY 5: After breakfast from Dunda thach to Gujar hat by trek (6km) (3/5hrs over night stay in tents .!
On a clear day this is a vantage point to view the Changsheel range. If one is not engrossed with the exotic flora, there is ample opportunity to enjoy a spectacular sunset here. A short climb on Day 3 takes one to the cairns at the summit which is a gateway to the long green ridge walk that offers 360 deg. views of nearby villages, the peaks of Swargarohini, Black Peak, Baraadsar and Bandar Poonch as well as breathtaking views of the valley below. The walk (about 6km) leads to the campsite at Dhunda. The final leg of the trek (about 8km) to Sankhri traverses little waterfalls and dense forest that are a complete contrast to the ridge and the bugyals. There are no rest houses on the route.

DAY 6: After breakfast from Gujar hat to Taluka by trek (7km) same day to drive to Sankri .!
The trail down to Gujar hat , Taluka one small market passes through a series of switch backs, farms, and a ridge. It is one of the most beautiful descending trails that Himalayas has to offer. After trekking for 6 km same day drive to sankri km you will reach Sankri. It will take you about 4 hours. Camp overnight at Hotel Swargarohini Palace harkidun road sankri .!

DAY 7 : After breakfast from Sankri to Dehradun by taxi (210km) take the overnight train to Delhi !

Cancellation Policy

It is wise to make your booking at least two months in advance. In the event of cancellation of trek/adventure activity services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reasons we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, andcancellation charges would be as follows

Up to 30 Days: - 90% of Trek/adventure program cost will be refund.
Between 21 – 30 Days: – 60% of Trek/Adventure/Tour/Travel/Hotel program cost will be refund.
Between 20 – 11 Days: – 30% of Trek/Adventure/Tour/Travel/Hotel program cost will be refunded.

• Backpack of 50 -60 ltrs and Daypack of 20 ltrs.

• Sturdy hiking boots: preferably all leather upper as it provides better ankle support. If you do not own a pair yet, it is advisable that you buy one as soon as possible & wear it often so that they are well broken. This will help prevent blisters.
• Light weight tennis shoes/sandals: for wearing in camp.
• Wool socks: 3 pairs: preferably thick wool socks.
• Nylon socks: 3- Pairs, of the type you wear daily to be worm under the wool socks to prevent blister.
• Hiking shirt: 1 Preferably long sleeve
• Long John top: 2 also known as thermal underwear, preferably wool to be worm as first layer.
• Warm shirts & pants for camp : 2 each
• Rain cot 1 each
• Warm Jacket: 2
• Wool gloves: 1 pairs as thick as available in the market.
• Long John bottoms: Preferably wool to be worm as first layer.
• Under wear: 2-3 changes Hiking shorts/ pants: 1
